National Numeracy Day 2025 Videos
National Numeracy Day takes place on Wednesday 21st May and aims to encourage everyone to become more confident in using numbers in every aspect of life. Join us here for sessions throughout the day to hear from inspirational people who work in jobs not typically associated with maths explain how important numeracy skills are to doing their job effectively and why maths matters in the workplace.
All sessions are free to attend and will be delivered via Microsoft Teams Webinars. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes and will provide opportunities for learners to ask the speakers questions. These sessions will also be recorded and available on this webpage afterwards.

Helping Families Love Numbers
In the build up to National Numeracy Day, National Numeracy lead a webinar to support teachers and school staff understand how to support children and their families to feel confident and positive about maths. The webinar looked at some of National Numeracy’s resources, programmes and tips to help boost confidence with numbers and parental engagement with maths, and explored how schools can get involved with National Numeracy Day.
