Join us here for sessions throughout the day to hear from inspirational people who work in jobs not typically associated with maths explain how important numeracy skills are to doing their job effectively and why maths matters in the workplace.

To support World Space Week 2024 we provided a range of pre-recorded sessions with professionals working in the space industry sharing their experiences and how to follow their footsteps for those interested. The theme this year was 'Space and Climate' and Scotland is a world leader for space innovation in sustainability.
Maths Week Scotland 2024
The theme for Maths Week Scotland 2024 is 'Maths Tales' and we will be exploring how maths is used to tell stories. Whether it’s the link between maths and the sea, or the stories in games design, we've speakers to help show that maths is indeed everywhere and highlight the importance of maths in all careers.
National Coding Week 2024
In celebration of National Coding Week 2023, DYW Live held a live career inspiration session to inspire young people to enter a career in Coding, followed by a live Assembly for Primary learners focused on Cybersecurity, delivered by Tech She Can.
