Join Nicola Killean, Children and Young People's Commissioner Scotland, for a very special celebration of children’s human rights at 9.30am on Friday, 20 November – World Children’s Day.
She will be hosting a live online assembly for children in Primary 1, 2, and 3 with BSL interpretation, broadcasting from a school near Glasgow. It promises to be a lot of fun, with maybe a little bit of chaos too!
World Children’s Day marks the birthday of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). As part of the celebrations, children at the 20-minute assembly will:
- Join in a fun musical activity
- Find out why the UNCRC is important, and
- Learn about their rights through a special rights storybook
See you on Friday, November 20, from 9.30-9.50am!
