Scotland's Assembly - Christmas Assembly

For our Christmas assembly this year we would like some help to create videos of children and young people from a whole range of backgrounds, cultures and languages saying "Merry Christmas" and talking about their experience of Christmas.

In order to do this please could you record a short video of learners following these guidelines:

1. Saying "Merry Christmas"
2. Saying what they eat at Christmas.
3. Saying what the weather is like at Christmas.
4. Explaining any particular Christmas traditions.

Part 1 can be in English or another language connected to that child. Parts 2-4 should be in English. Feel free to only do part 1 or part 1 and any/all of parts 2-4. Videos can be uploaded as one long video or in several parts. More than one child can feature per video.

All primary schools have been emailed instructions on how to send in their videos. If you haven't received this please email e-sgoil@gnes.net and we can give you all the information.

We hope that taking part in the assembly, by sending a video, will be a fun way for pupils to share their cultures and Christmas experiences, as well as learning about others from across the country.
