Description:
This SQA accredited course aims to educate participants on the following elements, in order to take positive and effective climate action:

  1. The causes of climate change
  2. The evidence behind climate change
  3. The effects of climate change
  4. The actions we can take to reduce the impact of climate change

Additional Requirements:
We would need a guarantee from the school that students would have 100% attendance. Students would need their own device. The teacher would also need to be present for the course to assist with collecting of student evidence to allow for accreditation.

Other Info:
Climate Emergency is the SQA accredited version of Climate Ready Classrooms. It sits at SCQF level 4 and is worth 2 credits. This would potentially be the first time we have run the course since it became accredited, for us to assess the course we would need a guaranteed class of students to complete the course (~11 hours).
